摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device which has the improved reflectivity of a reflective electrode and has no trouble such as image persistence even when a system for applying an AC electric field to a liquid crystal layer is employed, and also to provide electronic equipment having the electrooptical device. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical device 100 has a first dielectric layer 18 formed of a plurality of layers of dielectric films (a low-refractive-index film 181 and a high-refractive-index layer 182) on an upper layer of a pixel electrode 9a (a reflective electrode), so that reflectivity by the pixel electrode 9a is high. The dielectric multilayer film is formed on the upper layer of pixel electrode 9a, so that by forming a second dielectric layer 28 on an upper layer of a common electrode 21, the side of the pixel electrode 9a and the side of the common electrode 21 have the same work function or similar work functions, so that even when the liquid crystal layer 50 is AC-driven, a symmetrical electric field is applied to the liquid crystal layer 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
