PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the authenticity of stipulating information when determining the authenticity of an article according to the stipulating information stipulating the processing of determining the authenticity of the article.

SOLUTION: An information generator 20 includes: a feature amount acquisition part 21 for acquiring a feature amount extracted from the article; a signature generation part 22 for generating the signature of the stipulating information stipulating the feature amount and the processing of determining the authenticity of the article on the basis of the feature amount; and an information generation part 23 for generating information which includes the feature amount and the signature and is imparted to the article. The authenticity verification apparatus 80 includes: a signature acquisition part 81 for acquiring the feature amount and the signature read from the article to which the information is imparted; a stipulating information acquisition part 82 for acquiring the stipulating information stipulating the processing of determining the authenticity of the article; a signature verification part 83 for verifying the signature on the basis of the feature amount and the stipulating information; an article information acquisition part 84 for acquiring article information read from the article; and an authenticity determination part 85 for determining the authenticity of the article according to the stipulating information on the basis of the article information and the feature amount.
