<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deterioration of reading performance due to generation of spot disturbance in a scanning laser beam for reading derived from superposition of the main peak and the sub peak of an output laser beam after generation of diffraction by shading of the laser beam at the aperture end part in the case of setting the laser beam width with the output aperture in an optical scanning module. <P>SOLUTION: The optical scanning module obtains information by receiving a reflected optical wave after scanning an object with a laser beam shaped without overlapping onto the output aperture end part utilizing the inclination of the laser beam output optical axis as the central axis, while an angleθ1 formed between the scanning surface of a scanning laser beam output from a semiconductor laser and the semiconductor laser active surface in the laser beam is adjusted in a range of 0<θ1<90 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
