<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for adequately controlling a drain valve which drains water from a gas-liquid separator. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 includes a fuel cell stack 10 for generating power with hydrogen and air supplied thereto, a hydrogen circulating line for returning anode offgas exhausted from an anode flow path 12 to the upstream side of the fuel cell stack 10 and circulating hydrogen, the gas-liquid separator 23 provided on the hydrogen circulating line for separating water from the anode offgas and storing the separated water, the drain valve 24 for draining the stored water from the gas-liquid separator 23, a hydrogen sensor 33 provided downstream of the drain valve 24 for detecting the concentration of the hydrogen, and an ECU 50 for prohibiting the opening of the drain valve 24 for a predetermined time when determining that the hydrogen is exhausted via the drain valve 24 in accordance with the concentration of the hydrogen detected by the hydrogen sensor 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
