PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment composition which gives excellent softness, moist feeling and smoothness after finish. SOLUTION: The hair treatment composition contains 0.1-2.0 wt.% of dimethyl stearyl amine, 0.1-5.0 wt.% of a cationic surfactant, 0.01-1.0 wt.% of an ampholytic surfactant, 0.1-10.0 wt.% of an oil component and 0.01-2.0 wt.% of saccharides.
