<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively diffuse mist into a room by efficiently joining the generated mist with a main air flow delivered from an air blowing part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizer 9 set on the air cleaner A includes a carrier part 6 which is held by a holder 13 mounted on the upper end of a water sump part 5 and has a needle shape part pointed like a needle and projected upward above the holder 13 and positioned in the outer part of the water sump part 5. A sub-air flow 26 to flow in the elctrostatic atomizer 9 from a blast part 4 is formed separate from the main air flow 24 delivered from the blast part 4. A by-pass passage 31 for merging the sub-air flow 26 and the main air flow 24 to the upstream side of the delivery port 3 in the air cleaner A together to mix the mist M and the main air flow 24 is provided. Either an opening part 27 for flowing the sub-air flow 26 in or a detour part 31b for making the sub-air flow 26 detour to the outside of the tank case 25 is set on the tank case 25 for housing the electrostatic atomizer 9.
