<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in such a structure that disposes part of a drawer space of a USIM card outside a battery pack housing space by enhancing the design flexibility of arrangement between the USIM card and the battery pack. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The width of the USIM card 80 is partially further protruded to a first side surface direction more than that of the battery housing space 51. A battery housing 40 is so configured that an opening and closing member 60 is mounted to a battery housing frame 50 which is freely opened and closed so as to include the protruded portion therein. The insertion and the removal the USIM card 80 in and from the USIM card housing 90 are carried out by opening the opening and closing member 60 and removing the battery pack from the battery housing space 51. After the USIM card 80 is inserted therein, the battery pack is loaded in the battery housing space 51, and the opening and closing member 60 are closed and further slid. This results in allowing not only a slide fixing portion 63 to be fixed to a slide receiving portion 53 but also a battery pressing portion 62 to be pressed in a main surface direction.
