PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine capable of reducing the size and the manufacturing cost and remarkably improving the efficiency of a Rankine cycle by increasing the heating amount of a refrigerant circulating in the rankine cycle. SOLUTION: In this fluid machine 1, a pump mechanism 46 incorporated in the Rankine cycle 40 in which an operating fluid circulates so as to recover waste heat of a heat source and circulating the operating fluid, and an expansion mechanism 48 for generating rotational driving force through the expansion of the operating fluid that becomes an overheated state by being heated after being force fed from the pump mechanism 46, are driven with a same driving shaft 50. A pump mechanism outlet part 46a that is a refrigerant outlet of the pump mechanism and an expansion mechanism outlet part 48a that is a refrigerant outlet of the expansion mechanism are opened toward the same outwardly direction.
