<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handwriting display system for displaying handwriting on an object with the use of an indicator, regardless of the height of the object on which the handwriting is displayed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The handwriting display system includes: a handwriting display pen 2 having a light source set with four or more light sources a1, a2, a3, a4, whose mutual position relation is previously known, and a light source b for transmitting that a pen tip exists on the object 6; a camera 30 for imaging the light sources; a calculating device 4 for calculating the handwriting display position of the handwriting display pen 2, based on the position and angle of the handwriting display pen 2, obtained from an imaged image, and the height when the pen tip of the handwriting display pen 2 exists on the object 6; and a display device 5 for displaying the calculated handwriting display position on the object 6 as the handwriting of the handwriting display pen 2.
