<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the buckling of the end of an endless belt even when the thickness of the end of the endless belt is not larger than that of the center part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fixing device includes: a rotor which rotates and drives; the endless belt 62 of which surface is pressed against the rotor to form a pinching region for pinching a sheet between a space to the rotor, is rotated following the rotor, and conveys the sheet introduced into the pinching region with the rotor; and a heating means to heat an unfixed toner image on the sheet in the pinching region.
