<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an arrangement for preventing excessive outward movement of a cover when a storage container is fully opened by outward movement of the cover, and to reliably prevent the outward movement of the cover. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A small article storage device for vehicle includes a partition 37 that projects toward an inner space of a storage container 17 from a part 21a of a longitudinal plate 21 in a depth portion of the storage container 17 so as to partition the inner space of the storage container 17 into one space 34 and the other space 35. A cover 28 that has moved outward A is accommodated in the one space 34 while the other space 35 is used for accommodating a small article 10. When an opening 24 of the storage container 17 is fully opened by the outward movement A of the cover 28, at least either one of the part 21a of the longitudinal plate 21 and a base part 37a of the partition 37 projecting from the part 21a is brought into contact with a front end 28a of the cover 28 in the direction of the outward movement A.
