<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic structure in which the end faces of a plurality of openings installed in both edge parts by extending slits formed on a metallic sheet in both edge parts are not acute and safety concerns are eliminated, and method of manufacturing the metallic structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Curved-surface-like projecting and recessed parts 57, 58 which become the outside of the openings 54 are formed in the outer edge parts in both ends of a metallic sheet 51 and also, after forming the plurality of slits 53 on the metallic sheet 51 including these projecting and recessed parts 57, 58 in zigzag, by extending these slits 53 in the direction crossing the slits, the plurality of openings 54 are formed and simultaneously frame parts 55 which are continued like the curved surface are formed on the outside edge parts of both ends.
