<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a combine harvester to stably perform moving travel and harvesting travel by housing an auger for discharging grains on the machine body of the combine harvester at a lowest possible position and to enable a discharge cylinder attached to the tip of the auger to avoid colliding with a mower when the mower is caused to ascend. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The auger 6 for discharging grains of a combine harvester, equipped with a detection means 24 that enables a controller 20 to swing a discharge cylinder 2 of the auger 6 and detects the ascension of a mower 12, is constructed in such a manner that the discharge cylinder 2 of the auger 6 is controlled to swing up to its angle not to collide with the mower 12 during the ascension of the mower 12.
