摘要 <p>The invention relates to the development of volatile oil deposits and can be used during testing to determine the current gas saturation in the bottomhole zone of a producing well in a reservoir bed. The method for determining the current gas saturation in the bottomhole zone of a well involves measuring the parameters of the reservoir bed and the formation fluid before gas starts to build up in the bottomhole zone, and creating a numerical model of the variations in a neutron logging signal during production for the specified parameters of the formation, the formation fluid and the expected gas saturation. During production, neutron logging is carried out when the productivity of the well decreases; the signals measured are then compared with the model calculations and gas saturation is determined on the basis of the best coincidence between the measured neutron logging signals and the model neutron logging signals.</p>
