The method involves determining a correction value for revolution speed of ductors depending on a printing speed before change of velocity and a printing speed after change of velocity by a processor (5), where color on a printing substrate (9) in a printing machine (1) before change of velocity is same as color after the change of velocity. Speed characteristic curves of the ductors stored in the processor are adjusted using the determined correction value for speed compensation of a ductor roller.
