Manufacturing an implant, preferably an intraluminal endoprosthesis, with a body containing metallic material, comprises: preparing the body of the implant; and incorporating hydrogen into at least a portion of the structure of the implant body near the surface. An independent claim is included for the intraluminal endoprosthesis implant with a body comprising a metallic material, optionally iron, obtained by the method. ACTIVITY : Vasotropic.
