Method and system for automated analysis of process data

The method involves evaluating similarity between a determined process data sequence and a reference data sequence by minimizing distance between signals of the process data sequence and the reference data sequence. Distance masses are calculated between the process data sequence and the reference data sequence, and distance classifiers are assigned to the calculated distance masses as similarity measure by a threshold value differentiation. The process data sequence is classified as similar or dissimilar, and the similarity evaluation is outputted over a user interface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for automated analysis of process data (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a method for automated analysis of process data.
