<p>The method involves determining a characteristic number for probability of an occurrence of an error cause of an error in a functional unit. A characteristic number for the probability of discovering the error cause of the error is determined in the functional unit. A characteristic value is displayed for a default risk of an operating device by a display device. The characteristic number of the probability of appearance in dependence of time period of a load of the functional unit is determined within different loading classes of the error cause of the error.</p> |
