PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a cylindrical filter, to reduce the weight of the filter, and to reduce the material cost of the filter by preventing the occurrence of thick-wall parts in the side and bottom walls of the filter when the filter is molded from a resin material. SOLUTION: A mold 1 comprises an inner mold 31 molding the inner surface of the cylindrical filter, a first outer mold 33 molding the side wall outer surface of the filter, and a second outer mold molding the bottom wall outer surface of the filter. The first outer mold 33 is divided into prescribed region molding molds 37-40. Each of the prescribed region molding molds 37-40 is moved in the thickness direction of the side wall. The inner mold 31 is moved in relation to the second outer mold 35. Numbers of pins 45-48 projecting in the moving directions of the prescribed region molding molds 37-40 are installed on the molding surfaces 37a-40a of the prescribed region molding molds 37-40, and small holes for filtering fluid are formed in the side wall of the filter by the pins 45-48. Pins projecting toward the inner mold are set on the molding surface of the second outer mold, and small holes for filtering the fluid are formed in the bottom wall of the filter by the pins.
