[Also in Division F1] An oil gasification burner has a blower formed with two impellers 3, 3<SP>1</SP>, which respectively suck in fresh air through a channel 4 having mounted therein a throttle 4<SP>1</SP> and a portion of the burner combustion products from the area of the burner head through a channel 5, the fresh air and exhaust gases being fed into a common outlet channel 6 wheel has attached to its wall a bi-metallic spring 7 which is bent in the cold state and abuts a stop 8. The spring is narrower than the channel 6 and is arranged in the exhaust gas stream from the impellers to produce a throttling gap 9. Prior to ignition of the burner the gases from the area of the burner head are heated electrically and as the temperature of the gas mixture passing through channel 6 increases after ignition the bi-metallic spring flattens against the wall of the channel. A second bimetallic spring 10 having half the width of the outlet channel 6 is arranged on the exhaust gas side of the channel and bends into this channel if the temperature of the exhaust gases exceeds the optimum running temperature of the burner.</p> |
