PURPOSE: A potable terminal and a method for displaying a WEB page using the same are provided to improve the convenience of a user by enlarging the font size of a text in the WEB page. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes an analyzing unit for a hypertext markup language(HTML) source(120), a font enlargement unit(130) and an on- screen display signal process unit(140). The analyzing unit for the HTML source verifies a text frame area which corresponds to a WEB page by analyzing the tag pattern of the HTML source. The font enlargement unit enlarges the size of a text in the text frame area to a pre-set font size. The on-screen display signal process unit processes the data of the WEB page to on-screen display signal.
