<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a ceramic porous body, which has a small change rate of dimension to a forming die even when the body is oxidatively fired, and to provide a ceramic porous body. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a ceramic porous body comprises the following steps: a bubble-containing slurry preparing step, wherein bubble-containing slurry is prepared using 65-85 wt% silicon carbide, an inorganic powder comprising an oxide ceramic material, water and/or an organic solvent, and a gelatinizer; a molding step, wherein the bubble-containing slurry is poured into a molding mold for molding; a drying step for drying the molded product; and a firing step for oxidatively firing the dried molded product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
