<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The board has an upper sub-assembly (2), a lower sub-assembly and an interposed core including respective longitudinal openings formed at rear end of the board. A sliding board blank (15) has a rigidifying insert (8) that is provided with a concave lower surface and simultaneously inserted in the openings of the lower sub-assembly and the core, respectively, where the blank serves as a swallow tail ski. The insert has anterior and posterior portions (11, 12) inserted in/placed outside the openings, respectively. The insert is disassembled after the manufacturing of the board. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a sliding board. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Sliding board for practicing winter sports (claimed) e.g. snow such as powder snow and fresh snow, sliding sports such as free-style boardsailing e.g. diving and figure, or free riding e.g. mountaining. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the board permits to improve functioning of the swallow tail ski, and to ensure rigid ski for practicing free-style boardsailing or free riding to improve diving reception. The design of the board permits to ensure flexion and torsion characteristics of the board, in its rear end. The concave lower surface of the rigidifying insert improves load bearing capacity of the rear end of the board, thus permitting the board to use in powder and fresh snow during the diving reception. The design of the board permits to ensure modularity to a manufacturer, a retailer and a user and to improve sensation of the sliding at the end of turning.
