PURPOSE: A laptop computer case and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the corrosion of a metallic substrate and supply a unique and excellent touch texture by forming a hairline on the surface of the metallic substrate. CONSTITUTION: A metallic substrate(20) has a hairline surface(21) formed by scratches, and a substrate protection layer(22) is formed on the surface of the hairline to leave the curve of the hairline. A color coating layer(24) is formed on the substrate protection layer to leave the curve of the hairline, and a transparent coating layer(26) is formed on the color coating layer. The substrate protection layer comprises: a UV(Ultra Violet) coating layer formed on the surface of the hairline; and a metallic deposition layer formed on the UV coating layer.
