The evaporator (10) has a hole structure region provided with a set of slotted holes (40) for discharging condensation water, where the hole structure region is formed by a plate (30) or a sheet metal. A surface formed by the slotted holes lies in a range between 3500 and 4,500 square mm, where ratio of the surface formed by the slotted holes to the total surface of the region lies in a range between 40 and 60 percent. The slotted holes run diagonally relative to a longitudinal axis of the evaporator.
