Lidar system including an optical device with a transmitter and a receiver

The device has a transmission device comprising a lens arrangement for transmitting light rays. A receiving device comprises a receiving area for receiving part of backscattered light rays. The lens arrangement comprises a widening unit (E4) for widening the light rays passing through the lens arrangement, and a lens i.e. achromatic lens (R4), for parallelizing the widened light rays. The lens is movably supported on an optical axis of the lens arrangement for adjusting direction of the parallelized light rays. An actuator i.e. stepping motor, is mechanically coupled with the lens.
