<p>A housing (10) for a portable display device (1) having a holding section (11) located on one side of the center line of the housing (10). The housing (10) is provided with a weight adjusting section which sets the weight on the holding section (11) side of the housing (10) to be more than the weight of that portion of the housing (10) which is on the side opposite the holding section (11). The weight of the weight adjusting section is adjusted by any one of the following methods: constructing the housing (10) by using different kinds of materials, constructing the housing (10) by using materials having different specific gravity, constructing the housing (10) by using materials having different density, constructing the housing (10) by using materials the amounts of which are different from each other, mixing a weight adjusting substance (14) in materials, and mounting a weight adjusting object to the housing (10). A portable display device is also provided.</p> |
