PURPOSE: A display apparatus operated by multiple modes and a mode changing method thereof are provided to conveniently set a mode of the display apparatus, thereby easily operating a mode of an adjacent image device. CONSTITUTION: An electronic picture frame(100) comprises a signal processing unit(110), an interface unit(120), an input unit(130), a storage unit(140), a controller(150) and an output unit(160). The interface unit receives an image signal or a voice signal from a host device. When a display device is finally connected to the host device, the storage unit stores information about the final mode. If the display device and the host device are connected each other, the controller changes the mode of the display device into the final mode.
