PURPOSE: A multimedia amplifier is provided to enable the seamless output of navigation sound even if a multimedia source is changed during the output of the navigation sound. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia amplifier comprises a DIR(Digital audio Interface Receiver) module(201), a decoding module(202), an SRC(Sampling Rate Converter) module(203), an ADC(Analog Digital Converter) module(204), an EQ DSP(Equalizer Digital Signal Processor) module(205), and a DAC(Digital Analog Converter) module(206). The DIR module generates a master clock signal based on a first sampling frequency unique to the multimedia source and converts an SPDIF signal, including the multimedia source, into an I2S signal. The decoding module decodes the I2S signal based on the master clock signal. The SRC module converts the sampling frequency of the I2S signal converted from the decoding module into a predetermined second sampling frequency based on a second master clock signal. The ADC module converts an analog navigation source into a digital I2S signal based on the second master clock signal. The EQ DSP module generates the second master clock signal, performs equalization on each I2S signal converted by the SRC module and the digital I2S signal converted by the ADC module, and outputs the equalized signal to every channel. The DAC module converts the I2S signal equalized by the EQ DSP module into an analog signal based on the second master clock signal.
