Described is the development of an immunological multi-spectrum diagnosis kit for performing the neonatal screening for congenital infection, which is useful for detecting the presence of a congenital disease caused by a variety of etiological agents. This process reduces the costs of the presymptomatic diagnosis or screening for congenital infection, since it uses fewer tests per sample, fewer reactants per plate and it is more cost effective upon not requiring the use of monoclonal antibodies or negative or recombinant antigens. The inventive process is considered of substantial utility in diagnosis tests in clinical and research laboratories and in entities or population groups where a neonatal screening program has been implemented as a daily process using blood samples embedded into filter paper. All cases resulting positive in this kit are candidate to confirmation by specific tests and clinical diagnosis.
