PURPOSE: A device for detecting excrement for a diaper using a capacitive sensor is provided to obtain excellent sensitivity, to enable a user to easily attach the device on the outer side of the diaper and to repetitively use the device. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting excrement for a diaper using a capacitive sensor comprises: a printed circuit board(20) having a capacitive sensor circuit part; a power supply unit(30) which is located on the printed circuit board and supplies the electricity for driving the detecting device; an electrode unit which is located on the lower part of the printed circuit board and detects the capacitance variation of the diaper; an output unit(50) which is located on the printed circuit board and indicates the capacitance variation as a signal; a controller(60) which is located on the printed circuit board and controls operative relationship of the circuit unit, the power supply unit, the electrode unit, and the output unit; and a case covering the printed circuit board.
