PURPOSE: A method for displaying broadcasting information of an image device is provided to display broadcasting information through a separate display device in a display panel off state of the image device, thereby reducing power consumption of the image device. CONSTITUTION: If a simple button key signal is applied through a key input unit or a remote controller, a controller extracts tuning information through a tuning information extractor(S202). The controller controls display of the tuning information through a separate display unit(S204). When a user confirmation key signal is applied through the key input unit or the remote controller, the controller applies an operation command to a panel driving unit(S206,S208). The panel driving unit turns on a display panel of the image device. |
