PURPOSE: A flow path converting valve module and a water softener having the same are provided to prevent internal water leakage, and to minimize total area of a flow path converting plate by optimizing perforated holes of a path converting upper plate. CONSTITUTION: A flow path converting valve module comprises a flow path converting plate(230) on which a plurality of flow path holes is formed, a penetration hole, a flow path groove(223) selectively connecting two or more flow path holes, and a flow path converting lower plate(220) coupled on the bottom of the flow path converting plate. The flow path converting lower plate and a path converting upper plate are made of a ceramic material. The valve module further includes a driving unit, an inlet, and a flow path cover(210) arranged on the bottom of the flow path converting lower plate.
