PURPOSE: A solid oxide fuel cell with a planar banded array is provided to ensure desirable high voltage and high power through planar lattice arrangement of a plurality of batteries and to be applicable to a mobile power supply source. CONSTITUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell with a planar banded array comprises: a first separator(12) having a gas channel and an embedding section; a plurality of first electrodes inserted into the embedding section of the first separator; a plurality of electrolytes which are positioned on the first electrodes and are inserted into the embedding section of the first separator; a plurality of second electrodes which are positioned on the electrolytes; a second separator(10) covering a plurality of second electrodes; first and second series-connecting terminals(71) which are positioned between the first and second separators and are mutually contacted; a sealing material(20) which are positioned between the first and second separators and contacts with the first and second separators; and first and second housings(13,11) compressing the sealing material by inserting the first and second separators.
