PURPOSE: A video analysis is provided to select interesting pixels from an image suitable for SIMD(Single Instruction, Multiple Data)-enable processors. CONSTITUTION: A binary mask is applied to an image(S1). The binary mask defines locations of interesting pixels. Using the binary mask, interesting pixels are collected(S2). The interesting pixels are saved in a pixel matrix(S3). Video analysis processing is performed for the pixel matrix(S4). The processed pixels are scattered in the image again to define locations in the image(S5).
