<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for retrieving and displaying a video relevant to a data broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: A display control apparatus includes: a separation means for analysis of data, described in a mark-up language, received from the outside and separating the data into elements to be displayed on a display device and non-display elements; a selection means that allows a user to select an element to be retrieved from among the elements to be displayed separated by the separation means; a retrieval means for retrieving from a database a video relating to the selected element; and a display means for displaying on the display device the video retrieved by the retrieval means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
