<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic program transmission control apparatus and schedule display method in which among broadcast events displayed on a display unit, an executable event can be identified and displayed. <P>SOLUTION: In an automatic program transmission control apparatus, control data are generated by a control data generation unit 13 on the basis of a broadcast schedule included in operation data. The control data generation unit 13 then outputs the generated control data to an RTP 20 and outputs the control data length of the generated control data to a display data generation unit 14. The display data generation unit 14 generates display data by reflecting the control data length on the broadcast schedule and outputs the display data to a display unit 30.
