<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce nonuniform brightness in an illuminating device in which optical fibers couple light from light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminating device includes: a plurality of light sources 100 that emit light; the plurality of optical fibers 300 on which light emitted by the light sources 100 is made incident; and a bundle 400 that bundles the emission ends of the plurality of optical fibers. The light sources 100 are arranged so that each of the optical fibers may extend straight. For example, a liquid cooling jacket 200 is formed in an arcuate shape having the distance R of the bundle 400 as a curvature radius, and the light sources 100 are arranged in a line on this liquid cooling jacket 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
