COLORING COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, THE COLOR FILTER, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for a color filter, which has excelling developability and from which a pixel section excelling in contrast and luminance can be formed.

SOLUTION: The coloring composition for the color filter contains: an organic pigment (A), including polyhalogenated zinc phthalocyanine having an average primary particle diameter of 10 nm to 40 nm and C.I.Pigment Yellow 150; a copolymer (B), having a repeating unit expressed by general formula (I) and a repeating unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid; a polymerizable compound (C); a photopolymerization initiator (D); and an organic solvent (E). In general formula (I), R1represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R2represents an alkylene group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms; R3represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of 1 to 15.
