PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that traps a floating toner without using a high-cost filter. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a photoreceptor drum 11Y; a developing unit 14Y; and a filter unit 17Y incorporating a filter. In the image forming apparatus, a drum unit 19Y and the developing unit 14Y are supported so as to freely slidable along guide rails 103Y and 104Y in directions of the front and rear of the apparatus, the drum unit having the filter unit 17Y supported by the rotation shaft of the photoreceptor drum 11Y.
