PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triphenylamine derivative which improves sensitive characteristics, when used as a hole transport agent of electrophotographic photosensitizer. SOLUTION: There is provided the triphenylamine derivative represented by formula (1), wherein R1is a 1 to 8C alkyl; R2to R5are each H, a 1 to 8C alkyl, or the like; at least one of R2and R3is a 1 to 8C alkyl or the like; R6is H or a 1 to 6C alkyl; Ar1, Ar2are each H, a 6 to 20C aryl, or the like, excluding a case in which both Ar1and Ar2are H.
