<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder that improves a cooling effect from the inside of a liquid container and can be easily washed if possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The holder 3 for a liquid container made of a synthetic resin supports rod-like cooling sticks 2 upright in the liquid container 1 that is open at the top, each stick 2 being filled with a cooling agent 5. The holder 3 includes: mounting portions 41 that are attachable to or detachable from the mouth 11a of the liquid container 1; stick holding portions 31 that hold the cooling sticks 2 so as to be detachable; and connecting portions 42 that are continuous with the mounting portions 41 and the stick holding portions 31. Each stick holding portion 31 includes: a peripheral piece 34 surrounding the outside of the flange 22 of the cooling stick 2; an upper piece 32 continuous with the peripheral piece 34 and located on the upper side of the flange 22; and a lower piece 33 continuous with the peripheral piece 34 and located on the lower side of the flange 22.
