<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste water treatment equipment and method, wherein an operation load is reduced to shorten a time required for recycling treatment and attain cost reduction, when treating waste water produced after splaying water to the contaminated soil which is dug out. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The soil cleaning equipment comprising: a raw soil yard in which an overflow prevention bank, a water collection groove, a water collection side groove and a suction pit are disposed in the yard; a cleaning yard; and a cleaned soil yard, is used in order that the waste water is separated and collected each yards, and is temporarily stored in a turbid water tank or a clean water tank in accordance with a degree of contamination of the separated waste water, wherein turbid water of high degree of contamination is subjected to simple cleaning to be turned to clear water and clear water of low degree of contamination is subjected to filtration and, thereafter, is reused as soil washing water.
