<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen unit where electromagnetic induction cooking apparatuses are arranged on the rear surface side of a counter so as to be hidden, and also a region for placing the apparatuses is clearly recognized even when hiding the apparatuses. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sink 15 and the electromagnetic induction cooking apparatuses 16 are juxtaposed in the region of the translucent counter 12. The electromagnetic induction cooking apparatuses 16 are arranged on the rear surface of the counter 12 so as to be hidden by the counter 12. The counter 12 includes light emitting parts 21-23 in counter parts corresponding to the coils 16a-16c of the electromagnetic induction cooking apparatuses 16. When a cooker P is placed at a position deviated from the light emitting parts 21-23, the light emitting parts 21-23 perform light emission to show the position to place the cooker P.
