<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a house monitoring system for automatically detecting a space where attention to an inside of the house cannot be paid temporarily and automatically setting an alarm state temporarily even when a resident is at home. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The house monitoring system includes: a control means 1 for dividing a house in spaces and setting a system state by divided space; and a detection means 2 for designating a specific space in advance and detecting that there is a member of the family in the specific space. The control means 1 sets a space other than the specific space to an alarm state when the detection means 2 detects that there is a member of the family in the specific space.
