PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus the sterilizing/cleaning performance of which can be kept high while making the whole thereof compact by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus is provided with a circulation line 1, a dezymotizing/cleaning unit 2 and a filtration unit 3 and constituted so that the filtration unit 3 for filtering the water W to be treated by a filter medium 60 such as sand and gravel and the dezymotizing/cleaning unit 2 for dezymotizing/cleaning the water W, which is to be treated and is made to pass through the filtration unit 3, to remove organic matter are connected to the circulation line 1 for circulating the water W to be treated.
