PURPOSE: An AMI gateway sharing a public ip network and a system for managing power consumption in real time through the same are provided to perform communication between the AMI gateway and an external service server by sharing a public IP, thereby efficiently constructing an AMI. CONSTITUTION: A load management module(10,20) acquire power information by load or signal information of a consumer. An AMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure) gateway(100) transfers the power Information or the signal information to the load management module through a public IP(Internet Protocol) network. An AMI service server(200) manages the power Information and signal information of the load management module through the public internet protocol network. The AMI service server transfers the control information of the load management module to the AMI gateway.
