<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a vehicle that maintains the uniformity of lighting inside and outside a compartment to enhance safety, improves design aesthetics in the compartment and eliminates a possibility that driving by a driver is adversely affected, even when a light source does not turn off. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system for a vehicle includes: a rear door 1e that is mounted between a center pillar 1b and a rear pillar 1c that are provided side by side in the fore-and-aft-direction of the body 1 of the vehicle A, and opens and closes an entrance; a lamp 3 in the center pillar 1b, from which the rear door 1e moves away when opened, the lamp 3 being provided on a rear face S1 that is hidden by abutting on the rear door 1e when the door is closed, and exposed in a back direction when the rear door 1e is opened; and a lighting control part 5 for lighting the lamp part 3 when the rear door 1e is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
