PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight package type electronic device capable of detecting the airtightness in an airtight vessel and securing reliability at use. SOLUTION: The electronic device is provided, and the electronic device includes the airtight vessel, having a storage space that can be sealed airtightly; a functional section that is stored in the storage space and can execute prescribed functions; and an airtightness detection section that is stored in the storage space and can detect airtightness in the storage space.
