<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a template matching system and method for a greeting card. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Color image data are received from a user. Templates of a plurality of greeting cards each associated with color data corresponding to colorization of the template are stored. A colorization property of the received color image data is specified, and is collated with the color data corresponding to each template. Based on a collation result, a subset inside the template is identified, and display having an emblem corresponding to the template included in the subset is generated. Template selection data corresponding to the template of at least one greeting card selected from the subset are received, and a greeting card image including rendering of the template of the selected greeting card and a received color image is displayed.
